Nutrient Limitation in Osmotrophic Protista
M. R. DROOP
Dunstaffnage Marine Research Laboratory Oban, Scotland

Some ecological implications of the model are discussed, in particular with respect to the concept of luxury consumption and Liebig's law of minimum.
